The Fall of Haal
Haal was a small village in (what was then known as) Drekaland, just below the mountains of Cliffholt. A prosperous and calm town, it was named after its founder, Haalstorm, a mighty dragon known for taming the wild waves of the nearby river (now known as the Haal River). Haal was famously home to Elizabeeth, Phinneas, Thorneapple, and Haalstorm’s distant relative, Haalstorm the Twenty-Thirdled, known as the Boobaloo Few, whose fate has been of great conjecture. Unfortunately, the town fell upon the first attack from Drakon and his cursed troop, leaving mere ruins.
