Grunglegrouse

LAND: Dreka, Vatten

A Grunglegrouse is a bird known for its strange, low voice that differs from most other animals. Whereas other birds often sing melodious tunes to one another, the Grunglegrouse sounds like it is constantly annoyed, grumbling under its breath as if attempting to say something just out of earshot. When a large gathering of the creatures are near, it sounds more like an approaching wave of ominous thunder from a storm than it does any flying animal. While there’s no proof or indication (other than perhaps the permanent constipated-like look on the Grunglegrouse’s face) that the bird is really the grumpy sort, it definitely sounds like it is never truly pleased.
